International singing sensation Charice Pempengco will be joining the cast of the second season of the hit US musical-comedy TV show Glee.

This was confirmed by Charice herself in her twitter account. Charice will be playing an exchange student who will be the rival of Rachel played by Lea Michele. The 18-year-old singer is currently in the US promoting her debut global self-titled album.
